U.S. Coast Guard selects VirTra shooting simulator

TEMPE, Ariz., 30 Aug. 2011. VirTra Systems (PINKSHEETS:VTSI) won a contract to supply a shooting simulator to the U.S. Coast Guard. The Coast Guard, part of the Department of Homeland Security, safeguards U.S. maritime interests and environments with an adaptable, responsive military force of maritime professionals who provide a persistent presence along rivers, in ports and littoral regions, and on the high seas, says a representative.

With this contract, all five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces have installed VirTra firearm training simulators, reveals a spokesperson.

"Our first sale to the U.S. Coast Guard is both exciting and a great opportunity," says Bob Ferris, VirTra's CEO.
