NEEDHAM, Mass., 2 Nov. 2011. Officials at global aerospace and defense companies BAE Systems Inc. and BAE Systems Ltd. Australia needed a product lifecycle management (PLM) solution for engineering product data management. They found their solution at PTC (Nasdaq:PMTC), The Product Development Company, in Needham, Mass. BAE Systems engineers are moving away from disparate, disconnected databases in favor of PTC’s Windchill PLM solution as its enterprise standard for product development.
Windchill is a secure, global platform providing access to product data and design, enabling collaboration across disparate sites and partners, support effective change and configuration management, and improve CAD data management to respond quickly to customer requirements.
