Diode laser bars in 1,210- and 1,320-nanometer wavelengths introduced by DILAS
MAINZ, Germany, 8 April 2011. Diode laser specialist DILAS in Mainz, Germany, is introducing diode laser bars in wavelengths of 1,210 and 1,320 nanometers aimed at OEM equipment as single-bar configurations up to large-scale stack modules, which can include hundreds of bars per module, company officials say. These fiber-coupled diode laser modules offer wall plug efficiencies of more than 40 percent. The DILAS laser modules, which are based on conduction-cooled diode laser arrays, generate output powers of 12, 25, 40, and 100 Watts, using a standard single-core 600-micron fiber with an aperture of less than 0.22 and SMA-905 fiber connector.
