DCS Corp. wins $76.5 million Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Command contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va., 7 Feb. 2011. DCS Corp. won a Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Command (TARDEC) contract providing technical engineering in support of the U.S. Army’s engineering and science and technology missions. The technical engineering services include lifecycle software engineering to the Program Managers in the acquisition and development of their main weapon systems platforms, and systems engineering on projects within TARDEC.

ALEXANDRIA, Va., 7 Feb. 2011. DCS Corp. won a Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Command (TARDEC) contract providing technical engineering in support of the U.S. Army’s engineering and science and technology missions. The technical engineering services include lifecycle software engineering to the Program Managers in the acquisition and development of their main weapon systems platforms, and systems engineering on projects within TARDEC.

This follow-on contract has a four-year period of performance and an estimated value of $76.5 million.

DCS will continue to provide technical engineering in support of TARDEC's in-service engineering and science and technology missions, which emphasize technical engineering services for Program Managers within PEO-Ground Combat Systems. These programs include: PM Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), PM Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), PM Mine Resistance Ambush Protection (MRAP), PM Heavy Brigade Combat Team (HBCT), PM Robotics System Joint Project Office (JPO) and TARDEC Army and Technology Objective (ATO), and Advanced Technology Demonstrator (ATD) programs in the ground vehicle domain.
