Honeywell and U.S. Army enter agreement to revitalize AGT1500 turbine engine

Anniston Army Depot, Ala., 31 March 2006. At its newly renovated TIGER (Total InteGrated Engine Revitalization) facility, Anniston Army Depot will commemorate the signing of the program enterprise between the U.S. Army and Honeywell. The Total Integrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) program designed to improve and extend the life of the AGT1500 turbine engine used to power the Abrams family of vehicles.
