SANTA ANA, Calif., 27 Dec. 2007.ITT Interconnect Solutions in Santa Ana, Calif., is offering nano-miniature connectors with twist pin micro-miniature contact technology, that feature a reduced contact pitch of 0.635 millimeters.
The connectors are for avionics, missiles, and medical applications, as they feature high-reliability electrical contact terminations with insulated wire/pigtails, providing secure connections in severe shock and vibration environments.
The miniature circular connectors are available with as many as 266 contacts and feature a range of contact counts and layout configurations, along with a variety of terminations.
The nano-miniature connectors have a contact rating of 1A and a lifespan of 500 mating cycles. For applications where EMC is a concern, a version of the connector is available with a NDM metal shell, 3.81-millimeter seated height, and 9-37 contacts in single row layout.
