Dave Pursley, Pre-Sales Applications Engineer, Kontron is the product specialist for the ATCA, cPCI, ThinkIO and E²Brain product lines for Kontron America in non-telecom applications. Pursley comes from a related industry where he started as a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) working with worldwide customers to improve productivity in their integrated circuit design process. He was promoted to Technical Marketing Engineer to help support other FAE's and create a repeatable sales process. Pursley holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Bucknell University and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
