Ian Day has over 30 years of technology experience in designing enclosures for severe environments. Prior to joining SIE, Day served as the head of R&D for Elma UK, the European Centre for Severe System Products. He also worked on the British Military VME program where he designed, developed, and qualified all severe environment enclosures, including Mil Spec power supplies, backplanes, and air-cooled and conduction-cooled enclosures for the military and industrial markets.
