Jason Smith

Jason Smith is a Product Marketing Manager for CWCEC San Diego, responsible for PowerPC and Intel Core Architecture Products. Prior to CWCEC, he was on the professional staff of the University of Arizona as the Principal Investigator and Project Manager for the Large Binocular Telescope Primary Mirror Cells. He has extensive experience in the design and application of high performance and embedded computers with a career that spans 25 years in the computing industry. Throughout his career, he has held design engineering, engineering management, and marketing positions at Synergy Microsystems, Gateway Computers, Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories as well as the National Center for Supercomputer Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois.
