Mark Heslep
Mark Heslep is a design engineer with 20 years experience in military and commercial industry. Since joining MITRE Corp. in 1996 he has participated in the VME Industry Trade Association (VITA) on behalf of MITRE's sponsors. At MITRE he heads the Embedded Solutions Team, which specializes in the application of embedded standards to system design problems. Currently Mr. Heslep is working on MITRE's 'Meteor' entry in the DARPA's 2005 Grand Challenge robotic vehicle crossing of the Mojave desert in October. Mr Heslep has a BSEE from Virginia Military Institute and an MSEE from the University of Virginia.
