Rory Pynenburg is a senior battery systems specialist at Micro Power Electronics. Prior to joining Micro Power, Rory was Chief Technical Officer for cap-XX, a manufacturer of the world's leading super-capacitors. Before joining cap-XX, Rory was a project manager and senior research scientist for Pinnacle Research Institute in Los Gatos, California, where Rory led the advanced battery program and made significant contributions to fundamental ultra-capacitor research. Rory also developed lithium polymer batteries as a senior research scientist for Valence Technology in San Jose, California and Odense, Denmark. Rory earned a doctorate from De Montfort University in the United Kingdom for his work on polymer batteries.
