BREA, Calif. – Antaira Technologies in Brea, Calif., is introducing the INJ-0200G-60-24-T industrial high-power IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector for networking in harsh environments.
The networking device is backward compatible with previous IEEE 802.3af/at standards, and uses several pairs of pins on the RJ45 cable to provide as much as 60 Watts of power to end devices. Each port supports 10/100/1000Tx for power in and data out.
The INJ-0200G-60-24-T is IP30 rated, DIN-rail mountable, and operates in temperatures from -40 to 75 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for outdoor or harsh-environment industrial applications.
The power-over-Ethernet device measures 3.7 by 3.3 by 1 inches, weighs 0.6 pounds, and is DIN-rail or wall mounted. It consumes five Watts of power, and uses power inputs of nine to 48 volts DC.
