LEWISVILLE, Texas – MilesTek Corp. in Lewisville, Texas, is introducing RoHS- and REACH-compliant, low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) and plenum-rated, twinaxial cable assemblies for use in demanding military and aerospace applications.
The halogen free and plenum cable assemblies are for use in military vehicles, enclosed buildings, and other enclosed areas where PVC's toxic properties are restricted.
The rugged LSZH cables operate in temperatures from -30 to 80 degrees Celsius, and the plenum-rated assemblies support temperatures as high as 125 C.
Connector options include three-slot and three-lug TRB connectors, bulkhead-style jack options, insulated and non-insulated connector options, and versions with blunt cut ends and bend reliefs. Off-the-shelf lengths range from one to 20 feet, and feature 0.242-inch O.D. twinaxial cable.
