Aeroflex awarded Mars Science Lab contracts

PLAINVIEW, N.Y., 12 June 2006. Aeroflex Incorporated's Motion Control Division has been awarded a contract for Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) High Torque Actuators from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Additionally, Aeroflex has been awarded a contract for a series of gearheads for the MSL Low and Medium Torque Actuators.

PLAINVIEW, N.Y., 12 June 2006. Aeroflex Incorporated's Motion Control Division has been awarded a contract for Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) High Torque Actuators from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

Additionally, Aeroflex has been awarded a contract for a series of gearheads for the MSL Low and Medium Torque Actuators.

Both awards constitute approximately $10 million in business for Aeroflex Motion Control on the MSL program. The orders are expected to be completed by March 2008.
