SANTA MONICA, Calif., 5 Aug. 2010. Pioneer Magnetics introduces the PM33216B programmable 15-to-70-volt power factor correction (PFC) power supply for renewable energy applications such as solar, wind, fuel cell, and flywheel uses. Designed to support stand-alone and parallel configurations, these models are configured in standard non-plug and hot plug I/O interface. The 5-by-5-inch units have internal forced air cooling and built-in protection from electrical overloads.

The PM33216B provides output power up to 6 kilowatts, with single or three phase AC input from 180 to 264 volts AC or three-phase AC Input from 365 to 528 volts AC. The output voltage and current are linearly programmable from 5 to 100 percent via an external analog input from 0 to 5 volts or 10 volts.

Standard options include variable speed fan control. Custom options are available. For more information contact Pioneer Magnetics online at www.pioneermag.com.
