U.S. Navy Seasprite surveillance and targeting helicopter employs Behlman Electronics power supply

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., 11 Jan. 2007. Orbit International Corp., an electronics manufacturer and supplier, has announced that its Power Group, Behlman Electronics Inc., has received a new order in excess of $1,250,000 for a power supply used on the LAMPS MK1 SH-2G Seasprite program, the U.S. Navy's anti-submarine and anti-ship surveillance and targeting helicopter.

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., 11 Jan. 2007. Orbit International Corp., an electronics manufacturer and supplier, has announced that its Power Group, Behlman Electronics Inc., has received a new order in excess of $1,250,000 for a power supply used on the LAMPS MK1 SH-2G Seasprite program, the U.S. Navy's anti-submarine and anti-ship surveillance and targeting helicopter.

Deliveries under this contract are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2007 and continue through the first quarter of 2008.

Behlman previously supplied this power supply under a prototype and pre-production stage and this order begins the production phase for the program. The order includes options for deliveries through 2011 which could bring the total value of the order to more than $4,500,000.
