Connectors for RF and microwave cabling in test and measurement applications introduced by Cinch
WASECA, Minn. – Cinch Connectivity Solutions in Wesaca, Minn., is introducing solder end launch straddle mount and thru-hole connectors for the company's Johnson 2.4-millimeter family of RF and microwave cabling. Johnson supports frequencies as high as 50 GHz.
Applications for both connectors include test and measurement systems, network router and switches, instrumentation test fixture equipment, and semiconductor test boards.
The 2.4-millimeter solder end launch jack straddle mount and thru-hole connectors offer a typical voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.35 at 50 GHz.
The straddle mount solder end launch offers a board mount similar to the SMA and 2.92-millimeter series. They work with various board thicknesses of 0.042, 0.062, and 0.093 inches.
The thru-hole version of the connectors has a leg length of 0.093 inches to support various circuit board thicknesses with one connector, and easy mounting and fixturing for manufacturing assembly.
