Voltage-controlled oscillator is for digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, and base stations.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Crystek Corp. in Fort Myers, Fla., is introducing the CVCO55CC-3950-3950 voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) for RF and microwave applications like digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, and base stations.

The RF and microwave device operates at 3950 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 volts. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -111 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and has excellent linearity. Output power is typically 4.5 dBm.

Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the model CVCO55CC-3950-3950 is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5 by 0.5-inch SMD package, and is for digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, and base stations.

Input voltage is 5 volts, with a maximum current consumption of 36 milliamps. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 1 MHz peak to peak and 1 MHz per volt, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -20 dBc typical.
