WESTFORD, Mass., 27 March 2014. Custom MMIC in Westford, Mass., is introducing the CMD197 1-to-24 GHz distributed driver amplifier in die form for military, space, wideband communications, microwave radio, VSAT, and test instrumentation applications.
The CMD197 RF and microwave device offers 16 dB of flat gain with a corresponding output 1 dB compression point of greater than +20 dBm and an output IP3 of greater than +30 dBm across its entire bandwidth.
The amplifier also includes a number of features including a single positive bias requirement, an on-chip bias choke, 50 Ohm port matches, wide bandwidth, and high linearity. Full passivation of the die ensures increased reliability and moisture protection.
