FOUNTAIN INN, S.C., 2 Sept. 2012. AVX Corp. in Fountain Inn, S.C., is introducing a series of multilayer organic RF inductors in a 0402 case size for RF power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, filter networks, and MRI systems.

The RoHS-compliant RF and microwave components provide high Q and high self-resonance, and feature an inductance range of 1nH to 32nH.

The low profile 0402 RF inductor also offers high self-resonant frequency and can support frequencies well above 1 GHz, company officials say. These advanced devices are expansion matched to printed circuit boards to improve reliability.

The inductor operates in temperatures from -55 to 125 degrees Celsius, and offers a 100-percent tin finish. For more information contact AVX online at www.avx.com.
