DDC releases air-cooled Fibre Channel network access controller card

BOHEMIA, N.Y., 7 Nov. 2006. Data Device Corp. (DDC) in Bohemia, N.Y., is offering an air-cooled network access controller (NAC) called the FC-75162 that is the latest installment in DDC's dual-channel PMC Fibre Channel NAC cards.

BOHEMIA, N.Y., 7 Nov. 2006. Data Device Corp. (DDC) in Bohemia, N.Y., is offering an air-cooled network access controller (NAC) called the FC-75162 that is the latest installment in DDC's dual-channel PMC Fibre Channel NAC cards.

Available with copper or optical interfaces, the cards operate in point-to-point, arbitrated loop, or switched-fabric topologies.

The FC-75162 is for data management in the laboratory environment, avionics maintenance, and testing and simulation, as well as a wide variety of embedded avionics and vetronics applications that rely on air cooling.

The FC-75100 series is for conduction-cooled embedded military and aerospace applications such as mission computers, data recorders, radar systems, forward-looking infrared sensors, photo image sensors, and reconnaissance.
