Multi-output indirect/DDS synthesizer LRU for airborne applications introduced by Trak Microwave

Nov. 12, 2010
TAMPA, Fla., 12 Nov. 2010. Track Microwave Corp. in Tampa, Fla., is introducing the model SYN151 multi-output indirect/DDS synthesizer RF and microwave line-replaceable unit for harsh airborne environments. The selectable L-Band (+/- 100 MHz) output port provides sub-hertz step size and less than 200 microseconds of switching speed. Phase noise performance is less than or equal to 100 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset from carrier, with -80 dBc spurious (1 - 80 MHz offset) and output power of +11 dBm. This unit operates in temperatures from -54 to 76 degrees Celsius.

Features include two independent agile frequency outputs; one fixed frequency output (360 MHz); sub-hertz available step size; low spurious levels less than or equal to 80 dbc; and extended temperature range.

The device operates in temperatures from -54 to 76 degrees Celsius; exceeds MIL-STD-461 for electromagnetic interference; comes in an aluminum chromate package; and measures 7.4 by 4.5 by 1.285 inches.
