AR introduces power amplifier module that covers military communications band

BOTHELL, Wash., 25 Aug. 2007. AR Modular RF in Bothell, Wash., is introducing an RF power amplifier module that covers the VHF/UHF military communications band, from 30 to 512 MHz with a power output of 100 Watts 1 dB compression point continuous wave.

The Model KMW2025/M11 is for OEM or embedded high-reliability communications applications that need good intermodulation distortion and the ability to be gated on or off via a remote control line.

The module operates efficiently from 28 volts DC with an average current of eight amps. It is housed in a machined aluminum enclosure, and can be purchased with or without a heat sink.
