IRVINE, Calif. – Astronics Test Systems Inc. in Irvine, Calif., is introducing two PXI Expresstest and measurement instruments: the PXIe-1802 arbitrary waveform generator and the PXIe-1803 digitizer for aerospace, defense, communications, and other high-reliability applications.

These two test instruments deliver test capabilities and measurement accuracy in a compact, PXI form factor, Astronics officials say.

The PXIe-1802 arbitrary waveform generator offers speed and performance for output frequencies to 125 MHz. With built-in waveforms, high signal quality, and high density and modularity, this arbitrary waveform generator delivers dual 14/16-bit waveform generator channels, bandwidths of 90 to 140 MHz, synchronization, and 250 microvolt measurement accuracy.

The PXIe-1803 is a 130/180 megasample-per-second dual-channel digitizer providing speed and performance for input frequencies to 175 MHz. With signal integrity, high density, and modularity, this digitizer provides a dual-channel 14/16-bit digitizer configurable as separate or synchronized channels.

The test instrument also offers waveform bandwidths of 65 to 175 MHz (typical), 64M of waveform memory per channel, and relative accuracy to 0.006 percent.
