CULVER CITY, Calif. – Q-Tech Corp. in Culver City, Calif., is introducing a line of ultra-miniaturecrystal oscillators for military and aerospace applications.

A crystal oscillator is an electronic oscillator circuit that uses the mechanical resonance of a vibrating crystal of piezoelectric material to create an electrical signal with a precise frequency.

Available in 2.5-by-3.2-millimeter, 3.2-by-5-millimeter, and 5-by-7-millimeter packages, these miniature oscillators will provide small options across the military temperature range of -55 to 125 degrees Celsius in CMOS, LVPECL, and LVDS outputs.

Many standard frequencies are in-stock to keep lead-times low. Q-Tech also offers TCXO products in the same package sizes, and VCXO products in 3.2-by-5-millimeter and 5-by-7-millimeter packages.
