The 6-axis Gyro & Accelerometer 6DoF sensor also provides a one-chip solution for automotive motion detection, positioning, and sensor fusion.

NEWARK, N.J. – Panasonic Industrial Devices Sales Company of America in Newark, N.J., is introducing the 6-axis Gyro & Accelerometer 6DoF sensors series for industrial applications for off-highway industry, AGV, and robotics.

The 6-axis Gyro & Accelerometer 6DoF sensor, also known as a 6in1 sensor, also provides a one-chip solution for automotive motion detection, positioning, sensor fusion, and inclination detection.

The motion-control sensors is available in a wettable flank QFN package. This housing benefits from a special edge that forms a step. The solder creates a connection in the throat of this step to enable high-quality soldering.

The shock- and vibration-resistant device is designed to ISO26262 and is AEC-Q100 compliant. It meets all long-term stability, accuracy, vibration, shock, and temperature performance requirements of demanding industrial and automotive applications.

The 6in1 sensor requires very low power and is made to operate over an extended temperature range of -40 to 125 degrees Celsius with two temperature sensors inside. It is factory calibrated.
