SANTA CLARA, Calif. – SiTime Corp. in Santa Clara, Calif., is introducing Endura Epoch for robust and resilient positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services in defense operations.

The ruggedized MEMS oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) boosts the resilience of PNT systems and other equipment such as radar and radios, satellite communications (SATCOM) terminals, and avionics against spoofing, jamming, and other disruptions in Global Positioning System (GPS) signals.

Based on precision timing innovations of the Epoch launched in September 2023, the Endura Epoch MEMS OCXOs resist the effects of shock and vibration, and are manufactured with proven semiconductor processes for reliability and quality in extreme conditions.

Key Endura Epoch features for high reliability include simplified timing; reduced size, weight, and power (SWaP); programmable frequencies from 10 to 220 MHz; 70x better g-sensitivity; 30x better reliability; 20,000 g shock survivability; 20x better frequency stability over temperature; and 3x better Allan deviation.

The Endura Epoch devices measures 9 by 7 by 3.6 millimeters, weighs 0.35 grams, and has a 420-milliwatt steady state power. For more information contact SiTime online at www.sitime.com.
