FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Electronics distributor Saelig Co. Inc. in Fairport, N.Y. is offering the Siglent SDS2000X-E series super phosphor oscilloscopes in 200 MHz and 350 MHz bandwidths.

They feature a maximum sampling rate of 2 gigasamples per second. With a waveform capture rate as fast as 400,000 frames per second in sequence mode, Siglent's newest oscilloscope series supports several triggering modes that include built-in serial bus triggering and decoding (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN).

The design includes deep memory fast Fourier transform (FFT) to enable users to view test signals in the frequency domain. It uses as many as 1 million samples for the FFT calculation, providing high frequency resolution.

Users access commonly used test and measurement functions with a one-button design, which supports auto setup, default, cursors, measure, roll, history, display/persist, clear sweep, zoom and print. A hardware co-processor executes fast measurement and math calculations to all 28 million samples to minimize analysis distortion.

Also included are on-screen automatic node plotting, and 16 digital channels for optional MSO capability. For digital debugging, this means that users can set the MSO to trigger on data patterns or an I2C address with a certain data value. An optional USB-powered 25 MHz AWG module can provide a local test signal source.

The SDS2000X-E series employs a new generation of SPO technology, which, means that background noise is lower than in many similar products for high sensitivity and low jitter. Measurement statistics, zoom, gating, math, history, and reference functions are available.

The SDS2000X-E series provides a 256-level intensity grading display function and a color temperature display . An optional USB WiFi adapter allows for local wireless control and monitoring, while an onboard embedded application allows for remote control via Web browser from anywhere.
