Boeing, Applied Micro, swap standard software

Software experts from Applied Microsystems Corp. in Redmond, Wash, and from Boeing Commercial Airplane Group in Seattle are exchanging technology to create test verification that meet the intent of the Federal Aviation administration DO-178B software testing standards. The companies are blending Applied`s CodeTEST technology with Boeing research in software verification methods. Together, engineers from Applied and Boeing plan to create software to test embedded systems software including test of Level A flight-critical software through modified condition decision coverage structural testing. - J.K.
