The GLD+PC/M, based on Systran`s real-time microcode, is a multifunction 1553 simulation and test interface that works with 1553A and 1553B applications. The GLD+PC/S is a single-function 1553 interface that uses microcode similar to the GLD+PC to add more instructions to the bus controller, emulate as many as 31 remote terminals, and provide a bus monitor mode able to filter bus traffic at a lower level in hardware than typical protocol chip-based boards, Systran officials say. - J.K.
