FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Electronics distributor Saelig Co. Inc. in Fairport, N.Y. is offering the GW Instek MPO-2000 series multifunction programmable test and measurement instruments from GW Instek in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

These instruments combine oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator, digital multimeter, and 2-channel 20-volt DC power supply.

In addition to its five-in-one multi-functional architecture combining oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer, it features Python script functionality into the MPO-2000, enabling users to create a small, low-cost automated test system without an external controlling PC.

Python is widely used in scientific computing, data analysis, web development, artificial intelligence, and other fields since it is easy to learn and use.

The 2/4 channel MPO-2000 series is supplied in Basic and Professional versions (B and P suffixes) with the Basic version providing 100 MHz bandwidth and the Professional version 200 MHz capability. The Professional version provides larger program memory and more system resources for processing longer waveform data.

The series provides USB CDC device control for multi-unit collaborative tests. A Python GUI library enables users to modify the original built-in Python APP or write their own custom programs.
