BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Easy Aerial in Brooklyn, N.Y., has received certification to MIL-STD 810G for the Easy Guard ground station to the company's autonomous drone-in-a-box inspection, monitoring, and surveillance solutions.

Easy Guard is a mobile unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hangar for takeoff, landing, and charging. It features an automated roof opening and closing system and is made from military-grade materials, rendering it mobile, rugged and weather resilient.

The MIL-STD-810 ensures that equipment can operate reliably in harsh conditions like extreme temperatures, pressure, shock, vibration, and solar radiation. MIL-STD-810 Revision G is the latest and most rigorous evolution of the standard to date.

Easy Guard's size and weight enable the UAV control station to be mobilized and deployed rapidly from stationary and mobile launch sites like standard pickup trucks or other vehicles traveling as fast as 25 miles per hour. The ground station comes sensors and four external cameras for situational awareness of the deployment site.

The MIL-STD-810G Easy Guard simulation tested the Easy Guard's unmanned aircraft ground control station's ability to withstand as much as 1,100 Watts per square meter (W/m2) of solar radiation, humidity of 50 percent, temperatures higher than 130 degrees Fahrenheit, and winds faster than 40 miles per hour.
