RGB Spectrum provides real-time video for UAVs

Systems integrators from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. in San Diego are incorporating video windowing systems from RGB Spectrum in Alameda, Calif., on their Altus and Ignat UAVs. unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). They are using the same windowing system that RGB experts developed for the Predator UAV. The Altus and Ignat UAVs have video cameras for control, data, and imagery transmission. The RGB/View 600 windowing system enables designers to superimpose the real-time video on the ground-based pilot?s display. The transmissions are via a C-band line-of-sight data link or a Ku-band satellite link. J.R
