ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., 30 August 2006. Cyber Defense Systems Inc.'s CyberBug hand-launched UAV successfully participated in war training exercises at the U.S. Air Force Academy at the end of July.

"The CyberBug excelled in flying 10 recon and target surveillance sorties at the Academy," says Jim Alman, VP Engineering, Cyber Defense Systems.

The UAV flew in turbulence in a valley surrounded and filled with trees, breaking the company's own record of 7,000 feet by flying at a density altitude of 10,500 feet.

The Bug's pan and tilt camera is said to have provided consistent clear and stable video to the end users. The Secretary of the Air Force was present along with numerous military officers.
