Inmedius, Inc. announces that reinisch AG of Karlsruhe, Germany implemented its S1000D Publishing Suite to service the lifecycle management requirements for the S1000D technical data projects of its clients with contracts supporting Airbus A350, A380, and A400M programs. The technical publication firm designs and creates communications involved in aircraft maintenance, repair, and operation, as well as components and machines for aerospace and aviation. "Utilizing the Inmedius software allows reinisch to provide superior authoring services to smaller-scale suppliers with S1000D project requirements for the Airbus A350, A380, and A400M programs," says Manfred Schneebecke, business unit manager, Aerospace and Defense, reinisch AG. "Many of the Airbus program vendors we service supply only a small amount of S1000D data, and typically do not have the staff, expertise, or budget to produce highly-complex data modules on their own. The Inmedius S1000D Publishing Suite is a modular, end-to-end software solution to manage the technical documentation process. The solution offers features that provide a framework for controlling the development of technical data utilizing S1000D publishing concepts. The new browser-based, WYSIWYG editor, S1000DauthorPro XE, is the integrated editor. It provides ease of use while insuring that reinisch has single or multiple projects up and running quickly, Inmedius officials say.
