Navigation data for light sport and experimental aircraft pilots to be designed by Dynon Avionics and Jeppesen

ENGLEWOOD, COLO., 23 March 2011. The SkyView avionics data offering from Dynon Avionics will include Jeppesen NavData and obstacle services. The solution will be targeted at experimental aircraft markets.
It will be part of a total Jeppesen light sport and experimental aircraft solution suite for both certified and non-certified aircraft.

"This agreement with Jeppesen provides Dynon Avionics glass cockpit aviators with the most accurate and complete navigation data anywhere that pilots fly."
Data updates are completed using Jeppesen Services Update Manager software.
The NavData and obstacle services are available for the Dynon Avionics SkyView D700 and D1000 systems. Coverage areas include Contiguous U.S., East-Central U.S., West-Central U.S., North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Eurasia, the Middle East, the Pacific region, and worldwide.
Jeppesen NavData is developed from a comprehensive aviation database, which is composed of more than one million records. To ensure accuracy, Jeppesen flight information analysts edit and verify approximately 150,000 database transactions generated from worldwide aviation data source documents during every 28-day revision cycle.
