PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Textron Inc. and its network of subsidiaries, including Bell Helicopter, Textraon Aviation Inc., Textron Aviation Defense LLC, Textron Airborne Solutions and TRUE Simulation + Training have announced a wide-ranging portfolio to be on offer during the Farnborough International Airshow.
Highlights include:
- Bell Helicopter -- Bell will have its 505 Jet Ranger X and 429 helicopters on static display, with its V-280 Valor and V-247 Vigilant tiltrotors featured in the live product demonstration area.
- Textron Aviation and Textron Aviation Defense -- The groups will use Farnborough to highlight their defense and special mission capabilities, with static displays of the Beechcraft T-6 Texan II, and special mission-equipped variants of the Beechcraft King Air 350i, and Cessna Citation CJ4 and Grand Caravan EX models.
- Textron Systems -- Textron Systems will display its Nightwarden Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (TUAS), Aerosonde HQ, and its Fury and G-Claw precision weapon systems.
- TRU Simulation + Training -- TRU Simulation + Training provides training products for commercial and military applications, highlighted through its approval as a supplier for Boeing's 737 MAX and 777X training programs. TRU has also provided several full flight simulators for Airbus' A320 and A350 platforms.
