The Intelligent Aerospace take:

November 21, 2018 -- Getting from check-in through security can be a stressful experience for travelers. By utilizing biometric data, the screening process can become much smoother. With trials underway at Delta’s terminal in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport – the world’s busiest – international travelers can walk up to the TSA checkpoint without showing an ID or boarding pass and go to the boarding gate just by looking at a camera and waiting for a literal green light. In the next three years, 77 percent of airports and 71 percent of airlines plan on implementing biometric scanning systems. By utilizing technology, air travel can become simultaneously safer while being less stressful.
