TUCSON, Ariz., – Following the success of their popular NTM and UPM series, OTEK Corporation unveils their latest line of efficient metering instrumentation with the New Technology Transmitter Series. Colloquially known as the NTT, the uniqueness of these units lie in their ability to receive any signal input (AC/DC, V/A, RTD, thermal couples, etc.) and quickly retransmit that signal into the industry standard 4-20mA loop. The meters themselves are highly programmable, and are easily field configurable using OTEK’s handheld 4-20 calibrator for precise calibration and testing purposes.

Versatile and highly efficient, the NTT series boasts an impressive repertoire that includes: input/output fail alarms, AC/DC signal or signal or universal power, isolated serial I/O and flash memory, manual/serial/or signal controlled output, over 30 input signals, and is available in 9 different models.

One of the highlight models in the series is the NTT-I, which features a single or dual isolated channel, a 4 digit display and 51 segment Auto-Tricolor bar graph, math functions of X-Y tables/polynomials, USB/Ethernet, greater than 500V isolation on all serial I/O, ±0.5% accuracy at full scale, and can be powered either by the current loop or externally. The NTT-I is also available for Mil-Spec and Class 1E/Appendix B applications and carries OTEK’s lifetime warranty.
