FAA Small Business Program to host informational session about how the infrastructure bill impacts air traffic facilities on May 16

WASHINGTON - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Small Business Program Office is hosting a webinar in support of activities related to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Eastern.

This virtual event is targeted for small business firms interested in FAA opportunities in areas of infrastructure identified below and will feature speakers from the air traffic organization (ATO) facilities and engineering services directorate as well as the SBA Surety Bond Guarantee (SBG) program.

The purpose of the event is to provide some insight into current plans for BIL as it pertains to Air Traffic Facilities, to educate vendor participants on potential areas of opportunity, and highlight resources available to small businesses to include the SBA SBG program.

All businesses are welcome but the event is targeting small businesses that have the capability to support at least one of the following Infrastructure areas: facility and security services; power systems and fuel storage tanks; and environmental occupational health and safety.
