Rugged powered and unpowered electronics enclosures for use in harsh environments introduced by Transtector

HAYDEN, Idaho – Transtector Systems in Hayden, Idaho, is introducing the TESS-series NEMA-rated weatherproof electronics enclosures for use in wireless networks, small cells, utility, industrial, and other applications that must protect critical communications equipment.

These stainless-steel enclosures are for protecting sensitive equipment in harsh environments. The enclosures feature rugged 16-gauge, brushed 304 stainless steel construction and are available in 12-by-10-by-06- and 14-by-12-by-07-inch sizes.

These NEMA-rated enclosures are part of Transtector's line of NEMA-rated outdoor product solutions, which include more than 100 powered, non-powered, power-over-Ethernet, and other configurations.

Features of these powered and unpowered enclosures include NEMA Type 4X / IP66-rated (non-vented units); NEMA Type 3R / IP24-rated (vented units); gasketed vented lids with filters; 120- and 240-volt power with outlets; padlock capabilities for additional security; integral welded mounting flange; 316 stainless steel hinges with removable pins; and options for heaters, fans, and DIN-rail equipment.
