The speed of the backplane supports 40 Gigabit Ethernet and PCI Express Gen3 signals with high-grade circuit board material and back-drilling.

WATERLOO, Ontario – Pixus Technologies in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing a 10-slot 3U OpenVPX embedded computing enclosure for Sensor Open Standard Architecture (SOSA) requirements.

The chassis features removable sidewalls, clocking, and VITA 46.11 system management connections per SOSA requirements. It has several VITA 67.3c and VITA 67.3d cutouts for RF interfaces through the backplane for 3U OpenVPX boards.

The speed of the backplane supports 40 Gigabit Ethernet and PCI Express Gen3 signals with high-grade circuit board material and back-drilling.

Pixus can support backplane design speeds to 100 Gigabit Ethernet and beyond. Other design options of the development chassis include a switch to go from the Pixus modular fixed power supply to a VITA 62 power supply and card guides for conduction-cooled boards.
