LOS ANGELES, 18 Nov. 2015. Electronics distributor MilSource in Los Angeles is offering the Techaya MILTECH 9124 and MILTECH 9128 Layer 2/Layer 3 Ethernet switches and routers for military, avionics, and commercial data communications applications.

Target applications include unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), video, and radar, which generate large amounts of network traffic that need to be delivered to data collectors, onboard recording servers, and then off vehicle over IP-based radios.

The board-level, compact, and conformally coated switches and routers each has a built-in board-to-board connector, and are ruggedized for advanced switching and routing capabilities on a high-density miniaturized plug-in module for embedded communications platforms.

The MILTECH 9128 features a 24 triple-speed (10/100/1000 megabit-per-second) ports plus four 10 Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic ports on a form factor of 3.55 by 3.55 inches.
