VMETRO expands buffer memory products to include XMC modules

HOUSTON, 2 April 2008. VMETRO in Houston is introducing the MM-6171 buffer memory node in an XMC form factor with support for Serial RapidIO or PCI Express. The MM-6171 is a rugged COTS product providing 2 to 4 gigabytes of high-speed buffer memory.

SAN DIEGO, 3 April 2008. Scientists at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., needed space-qualified instruments for their Living with a Star (LWS) space environments testbed (SET) experiment hardware. They found their solution from Space Micro Inc. in San Diego.
