ANDOVER, Mass. – Mercury Systems Inc. in Andover, Mass., is introducing the Ensemble HDS9624 rackmount server with built-in cyber security for demanding sensor-processing or mission-computer applications that can be forward deployed. The Mercury rugged server offers security features and a trusted supply chain for hardware and software.

These rack servers with built-in cyber security can be deployed for missions ranging from wide-body aircraft, ships, submarines, or ground stations, where computers need to be secure, trusted, and rugged. The computers deter reverse engineering with security features as a turnkey solution or as a customer-private customizable portfolio of techniques.

Trust comes through DMEA-accredited design, manufacturing, and testing by U.S. personnel in U.S. facilities that minimize the risk of backdoors, counterfeits, and trojans. The board support package, BIOS, and network stack are designed by U.S. personnel and are available for inspection by government agencies.

Ruggedness comes from ANSI/VITA 48.7 Air Flow-By mechanical and cooling techniques to a standard ATX-based server form factor. These systems can help system integrators meet U.S. Department of Defense instruction 5200.44 “Protection of Mission Critical Functions to Achieve Trusted Systems and Networks.”

The Mercury Ensemble HDS9624 secure rack server can be sold to allies under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs.

The HDS9624 secure rack server is an ATX-class server with two 10-core Intel Xeon E5 v4 processors with a cache-coherent memory pool running one SMP operating system across all cores in processors.

Mercury’s secure rack server product line is designed to address concerns about Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) in the use of commercial servers. Mercury’s Secure Rack Servers offer 10 or more years of supply longevity.
