Army to brief industry in June on command and control enabling technologies worthy of industry investment

ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. – U.S. Army command and control experts will meet with industry in June on current projects and future opportunities in command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR).

Officials of the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) at Aberdeen Proving Ground will hose briefings and an industry expo on 10 and 11 June at the Myer Auditorium (Building 6000) and the APG Recreation Center gymnasium (Building 3326) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

Army DEVCOM's Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center's 2025 Expo will cover current project areas and expand into future growth opportunities across key mission areas.

New program starts

Discussions will focus on technologies with new starts planned for 2027 through 2029, and provide two-way collaboration on current and future technologies.

The event will be technology-focused and not tied to any specific acquisition or contracts, and seeks to identify future participants to develop new enabling technologies in C5ISR.

The expo should help industry identify how to invest internal research and development funds money, and surface innovative solutions already being explored by the C5ISR Center or industry.

Guiding industry exploration

The first day will focus on technologies worth industry exploration, and switch on the second day to a symposium-style format with booths representing technology areas across the C5ISR Center. The second day is for industry in the morning, and for government attendees in the afternoon.
