Aetina launches compact edge AI systems with four GMSL2 camera interfaces
NEW TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan - Aetina Corp. has introduced the DeviceEdge AIE-VN34/44 and AIE-VO24/34 compact in-vehicle edge AI systems for smart transportation, autonomous mobile robots and industrial automation applications.
The AIE-VN34/44 uses NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB or 16GB modules to provide up to 100 TOPS of AI performance, while the AIE-VO24/34 uses NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano with Super Mode 4GB or 8GB modules to provide up to 67 TOPS.
Both systems support up to four GMSL2 camera connections through Fakra-Z interfaces and measure 136.3 by 132 by 63 millimeters. Aetina says its validated GMSL2 adapter boards and camera modules support image transmission distances of up to 15 meters.
The systems use fanless cooling and are designed to operate from -25 to 55 degrees Celsius. They support 9-36 volt DC input and include ignition power control for vehicle applications. Both systems also provide isolated CAN FD, GPIO, RS-232, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.2 and HDMI interfaces, with M.2 M-Key storage and optional M.2 E-Key wireless expansion.
Aetina says the systems have completed MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration testing and carry E-Mark E24 certification for automotive electronic equipment.
The systems support Aetina's board support package based on NVIDIA JetPack 6.2, with JetPack 7.2 support planned.
