DataPath Awarded $1.7 Million to Support DISA Teleport Operated by U.S. Air Force

DULUTH, Ga., 7 Aug. 2008. DataPath Inc. in Duluth, Ga., to provide technical field support for a U.S. Air Force satellite communications hub at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, under terms of a $1.7 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Arlington, Va.

DULUTH, Ga., 7 Aug. 2008.DataPath Inc. in Duluth, Ga., to provide field services support for the U.S. Air Force satellite communications teleport at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, under terms of a $1.7 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Arlington, Va.

The teleport, a DISA hub for military communications, links military X band networks with commercial Ku band networks to provide network-centric, high-bandwidth capabilities to U.S. forces. DataPath installed the teleport and has supported it for seven years.
