ManTech to maintain elevated infrared surveillance systems in Iraq and Afghanistan

FAIRFAX, Va., 19 June 2008. ManTech International Corp. in Fairfax, Va., won a $118 million contract from the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command at Fort Monmouth, N.J., to support elevated infrared surveillance systems deployed throughout Iraq and Afghanistan.

FAIRFAX, Va., 19 June 2008.ManTech International Corp. in Fairfax, Va., won a $118 million contract from the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command at Fort Monmouth, N.J., to support electro-optic IR surveillance systems deployed throughout Southwest Asia.

These infrared camera surveillance systems, which provide intelligence to respond to attacks against U.S. and coalition forces consist of the U.S. Army's Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID) System, Base Expeditionary Target Surveillance Systems, and the U.S. Marine Corps Ground Based Operational Surveillance System (GBOS).

ManTech will provide deployed fielding support, maintenance and repair; logistics management; sustainment support; and resource management, acquisition and administrative support for and specialized systems. These services will be provided in Southwest Asia -- including Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.
