Army re-invents COTS computer-procurement program

FORT MONMOUTH, N.J., 2 April 2008. U.S. Army communications and electronics leaders are changing the name of the Army Small Computer Program (ASCP) to Project Director, Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), promote the program as the Army's primary source for information technology (IT) products and services.
